Do You Have the Right Tools?
In order to install bathroom tile properly, there are a few tools you will need to have on hand. While sponges, trowels and rags are cheap, equipment like a wet saw can be a lot more expensive. If you don’t have one, make sure you can rent one for the installation.
Can You Transport the Tiles Yourself?
Keep in mind that tiles are extremely heavy. If you have a large space to tile, ensure that your car can handle the extra weight or have the tiles delivered.
Do You Have the Time?
Tiling a bathroom is not extremely difficult, but it can take a lot of time. Make sure you have at least one full weekend to devote to the job. There are many types of tile from which to choose; make sure you choose the right type for a bathroom.
